It's clear from the start that every dish is crafted with care and authenticity.

One of the standout offerings here is their Clay Pot Rice, available in various tempting styles. The Rice with Pork Spareribs in Black Bean Sauce, priced at just $11.95, is a must-try. Imagine fragrant rice soaking in the rich umami of the black bean sauce while tender pork ribs absorb the flavors—pure comfort food at its best. But the treasures don't stop there. The menu includes an array of Chow Mein Chow Fun, featuring the H.K. Style Beef Chow Fun for just $11.50. Customers often rave about the Hong Kong Style crispy noodles, which truly capture that sought-after 'wok hei'—the breath of the wok.

Of course, like any beloved spot, there are occasional critiques. Overall, Hing Lung is much more than a restaurant; it's a celebration of authentic Chinese cuisine right in San Bruno. With passionate customers and a menu that promises something for everyone, it’s a delightful experience waiting to unfold—one flavorful bite at a time.

I was not aware of this tinny dining place if my friend did not took me there. It is located at at a not easily seeing spot at Tanforan Mall. It's beef stew with Chinese carrots is great although the carrot needs more cooking time. I give the beef fried rice noodle 9.5 out of 10. I droped by twice. It is very busy during lunch hours. It is a good place to go if you want to try some traditional Cantonese food.

I have been here since they have first opened here and I usually stop by when I am craving for some authentic Chinese food or if I just so happen to be in the area. Sometimes there can be a wait, but that does not bother me since I am a very patient person. Their menu consists of many authentic Cantonese dishes, along with soup, noodle and other specialties. Everything is made to order which is always a plus for me since it is quality over quantity. And their portion size is more than enough where you might have to take to go. The staffs here are welcoming, well trained and understanding where they provide good service and I had never encountered an issue during any of my visits. I recommend this place to all Chinese food enthusiasts, if you are willing to try something new or to anyone that just so happen to be in the area just like me. I definitely will be back to tryout the other delicious options they have to offer.

Came here at 5 pm. There are plenty of open tables. No wait. Just like the one in Chinatown. They are known for their rice porridge. They make one of the best rice porridge out there. Plenty of parking. They accept credit cards. They have that wok flavor that many other Chinese restaurants lack. Whether you have Hong Kong Style crispy noodles, Dry Beef Chow Fun, Salted fish fried rice, or rice porridge, all of them are excellent choices. XO rice noodles are my favorite. A hint of and spicy.

We came here for dinner, and ordered these dishes: H.K. style beef chow fun, Water spinach with fermented tofu in broth, Pork liver with ginger and onion, and Hainan style chicken. Everything tasted great, and I highly recommend trying the Pork liver with ginger and onion! I don't see this dish on other restaurants' menus, and they did a really good job preparing it. They got rid of the bloody smell from the liver really well, and the seasoning was spot on. The texture was tender and slightly crunchy, and it paired perfectly with the ginger!

Little disappointed the pork liver used to be the signature dish for this restaurant when they were in China Town. It’s not tender as before. Congee base still good. Pork meat it’s same taste that I missed from congee. Stir fried dishes have good portion and serve it in the right temperature. Good spot for authentic Cantonese style food. It’s crowded with small seating area.

Food is decent. They ran out of charsiew at 3ish pm. Kids were happy with the noodles. The lack of available red vinegar on table was a slight dissssssappointment. Had to ask a couple of times before tea was refilled.
